97.5 The Fanatic is getting ready to host its fourth annual Fanatic Fantasy Fest this Saturday, August 26th (Noon-5p ET) at XFINITY Live! in Philadelphia. Fantasy Fest 2017 is an interactive block party, and free of charge ticketed event for 97.5 listeners.
Appearing at this year’s event will be former Philadelphia Eagles Running Back, Brian Westbrook, Linebacker Seth Joyner, and Quarterback, Ron Jaworski; plus Philadelphia Flyers coach Dave Hackstol, ESPN’s Fantasy Football Expert Eric Karabell and Baseball Writer Jayson Stark will also be in attendance.
The Fanatic’s entire air staff will be on hand to meet Philadelphia sports fans, including Mike Missanelli, Anthony Gargano, and Harry Mayes. The radio station will also feature 10 female finalists in a pageant-style competition with the winner being crowned Miss Fantasy Fest 2017 and receiving $5,000 and a luxury fire pit from Landis Block.
The Philadelphia Flyers and Philadelphia Soul will also be present giving fans a chance to make a slap shot or sling a pass. The Soul are playing in Arena Bowl XXX later that night at the Wells Fargo Center. In addition, Ron Jaworski and The Soul will be running a Pep-Rally during Fantasy Fest.
If that wasn’t enough, The Red Hotts and Local Honey will perform a mix of original and cover songs live throughout the day on the main stage. The Fanatic will also host Q&A sessions with the station’s on-air personalities and special guests on the Victory Beer Hall stage. Fans will have opportunities as well to participate in football games with Fun Fieldz, video games with Games on the Go, a dunk tank and other entertaining activities.
