After recent assignments as a contributor to NBC Sports’ Super Bowl and Olympic coverage, Dale Earnhardt Jr. made his debut as an analyst on NASCAR America on March 12th. NBC has announced Earnhardt will make a weekly appearance on the show beginning Wednesday March 28th.
Each Wednesday, the daily weekday show, NASCAR America, will be referred to as “Wednesdays with Dale Jr.” The episode will continue to feature in-depth discussions regarding the latest NASCAR news. Rutledge Wood will host alongside Earnhardt and the program’s regular analyst Kyle Petty.
Earnhardt signed a multi-year contract with NBC in July 2017, during his final season competing in NASCAR. NBC, which splits the NASCAR season with FOX, will take over the broadcast schedule beginning July 1st. The 15-time Most Popular Driver is expected to join the NBC broadcast team that includes his former crew chief, Steve Letarte.
