98.5 the Sports Hub just got a new TV friendly studio and the station intend to get the most out of it. Its midday show Zolak & Bertrand will launch a TV simulcast on Monday on NBC Sports Boston. NBC Sports Boston will feature content from the show both on TV and on its digital platforms.
This is the second Sports Hub show to make the jump to TV. Felger & Mazz, the station’s afternoon show, has signed an extension to remain on NBC Sports Boston. The two simulcasts mean that NBC Sports Boston will not have to replay games or pre-recorded content during any day time hours.
“We are pleased to expand our relationship with The Sports Hub and Beasley Media by adding the popular Zolak and Bertrand midday show to our programming line-up and extending the successful Felger & Mazz simulcast,” Princell Hair, SVP and General Manager of NBC Sports Boston, said in a press release. “With the addition of these shows, NBC Sports Boston will now offer 13 straight hours of live, real-time sports programming every weekday from 10AM-11PM. This continuous lineup allows us to super serve the Boston sports fans in all dayparts.
The Zolak & Bertrand simulcast launches on July 23rd at 10 am Eastern. It is followed immediately at 2pm by the Felger & Mazz simulcast.
