Sirius/XM will team with Westwood One to provide its subscribers with hole-by-hole coverage of the 100th PGA Championship later this week. Taylor Zarzour will anchor the coverage with Mark Carnevale serving as the analyst in the booth. Maureen Madill, John Maginnes, Dennis Paulson, Fred Albers and Bill Rosinski will be stationed around the course to provide analysis of individual holes and players. Debbie Doniger will provide interviews. Golf greats Dave Stockton, Fred Couples, Ben Crenshaw, Hale Irwin, Greg Norman and Craig Stadler will also be featured on special programming throughout the week.
Sirius/XM is also using the occasion to launch a new weekly show for PGA Tour Radio. PGA of America Radio will be hosted by David Marr III. It debuts on Wednesday and will be heard every Wednesday at 4pm. Sirius/XM says the show “will focus on expert PGA Member instruction and analysis, major PGA of America golf events, featured programs designed to grow the game and a unique insider’s perspective from special guests from throughout the golf industry.”
