Yahoo has the streaming rights to the NFL this season. They allow the company to stream in-market and primetime games. Yahoo isn’t content with just games. They are rolling out a slate of football-themed shows to supplement the play-by-play. There are four shows on tap.
The first show will feature recently retired tight end Martellus Bennett and is called Mostly Football. As the name implies, the show will be mostly about football, but will also put the spotlight on where football overlaps with culture, pop-culture, and lifestyle topics.
Yahoo will also launch two highlight shows. The Rush will be a daily program that spotlights the biggest moments from the biggest games. The Spin will also be built around highlights, but it also will feature analysis from Yahoo’s in-house experts.
Fantasy Football Live, Yahoo’s longest-tenured sports show, will be part of the lineup as well. It returns for its 13th season.
