Report: ESPN Developing Digital Show for Mina Kimes

Mina Kimes just signed an extension with ESPN, and the network is interested in expanding her role. Kimes already is a regular guest on The Dan Le Batard Show on ESPN Radio as well as on Le Batard’s TV show Highly Questionable. She also writes for ESPN The Magazine, and will return to her role as co-host of the The Morning Roast on ESPN Radio, alongside Clinton Yates and Domonique Foxworth, when the NFL season ends.

ESPN would like to develop an NFL-focused show for Kimes, according to Bobby Burack at The Big Lead. The show would originate on ESPN’s page on either Facebook or Twitter. The show would be promoted alongside a podcast hosted by Kimes called Bootleg.

Burack reports that Foxworth, Mike Golic Jr. and Bill Barnwell have been discussed as possible co-hosts or recurring guests and that ESPN would like to air the show on a day of the week with significance to the league, likely either Thursdays or Sundays. ESPN declined comment on Burack’s reporting.
