Sports Illustrated continues rolling out new content on its digital platforms. Charlotte Wilder, who already hosts The Wilder Project for SITV, is one half of a new podcast the company debuted yesterday.
Most Valuable Podcast pairs Wilder with her friend and recent SI addition Jessica Smetana. Smetana joined SI from SB Nation, where she was a producer and video host. She is a show runner and producer for SI.
Their show is a comedy podcast based on sports featuring their conversations as well as written and pre-recorded bits. The first episode dropped on October 23 and featured an autobiography of Philadelphia Flyers mascot Gritty, a debate about whether or not apple picking is sports, and a theory that college football may be the key to ending the debate on global warming. New episodes will premier every Tuesday.
