Rush Limbaugh Tells FOX & Friends Democrats Will ‘Rip the Constitution to Shreds’

Conservative radio legend Rush Limbaugh made a rare live appearance on FOX News Tuesday morning, appearing in a segment on Fox & Friends as many Americans head to the polls to vote in the 2020 presidential election.

Limbaugh joined hosts Ainsley Earhardt, Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade to encourage people to go vote, as well as to talk about the election, Limbaugh’s outlook for America if Joe Biden wins and the Democrats take control of the House and Senate, and Limbaugh’s friendship with President Donald Trump.

“This is the day we are going to determine what kind of country we have going forward,” Limbaugh said of Election Day 2020. “I don’t want there to be any doubt about this.”

When asked what a victory for Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and congressional Democrats would mean for the nation, Limbaugh painted a grim picture.

“We’ve reached a point in America wehre the American left doesn’t like this country, they haven’t liked it for a long time,” he said. “If they have the chance, they’ll rip the constitution to shreds as best they can and rewrite it. They’ll make government and government power the centerpiece of American life, and the American people are not going to know what hit them.”

Limbaugh was asked about his friendship with the president, and Limbaugh talked about how nice President Trump is, saying that he was the kind of guy you’d love to sit down and have a beer with “Even though he doesn’t drink.”

Limbaugh also talked about his battle with Stage 4 cancer, which he recently revealed on his radio show had spread.

“I have had a very, very good fortune with the course of treatment that I’ve had, and I’m just thrilled to be here,” he said. “I wake up every day and just thank God.”
