Various social media outlets such as Twitter banned Former President Donald Trump from using their platform. Months have passed since they issued him this ban, but these platforms continue to disassociate themselves with the ex-president.
Trump spoke to his daughter-in-law and Fox News contributor Lara Trump for her show “The Right View With Lara Trump” and uploaded the content to Facebook and Instagram.
As a result, the social media outlets removed the content because it featured Trump speaking” and the “voice of Donald Trump,” Facebook said in an internal email that the New York Postrelayed.
“We are reaching out to let you know that we removed content from Lara Trump’s Facebook page that featured President Trump speaking,” the email from Facebook stated to the Fox News contributor.
“In line with the block we placed on Donald Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts, further content posted in the voice of Donald Trump will be removed and result in additional limitations on the accounts.”
The New York Post has reached out for a comment from Facebook but has yet to hear back from the social media company.
