Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo recently made headlines by going after those who questioned her reporting. “Keep trashing me. I’ll keep telling the truth,” the network host stated.
It appears that Late Night host Seth Meyers will put that phrase to the test as he after the Fox News host during his latest monologue. The comedian aimed critical comments at Bartiromo.
Meyers went on to call Bartiromo “one of the most unhinged conspiracy theorists on Fox” due to her baseless Capitol riot conspiracies, including her statements of saying there were no firearms at the deadly January 6 siege.
However, Meyers would debunk this claim made by Bartiromo. Pointing out that prosecutors have charged a fourth Capitol defendant with a firearms violation. Moreover, he would say that guns weren’t the only weapons at the siege—insurrectionists supplied themselves with clubs, spears, shields, bear spray, mace, and other chemical irritants.
The late-night host went into further detail in explaining how “Republicans are still obsessed with trying to overturn the election of the 2020 election and rewrite the history of what happened during the January 6 insurrection at the Capitol.”
