Greg Norman: I Don’t Care What Some American Fans Think of LIV GOLF

Fox News host Tucker Carlson welcomed LIV Golf CEO and commissioner Greg Norman onto Monday’s edition of “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

After the tournament at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster, Norman spoke with Carlson about what’s next for them and controversial topics surrounding the tour.

One of the conversations that Norman had with Carlson was over the tour’s backing from Saudi Arabia and whether sponsors would consider dropping golfers due to their participation in LIV Golf’s tournaments.

Norman quickly pointed to the PGA Tour as an organization that does business with Saudi Arabia, saying it would be hypocritical to see sponsors drop golfers.

“The PGA Tour, I think, has about 27 sponsors on the PGA Tour do 40-plus-billion dollars worth of business on an annual basis in Saudi Arabia,” Norman told Carlson. “Now, why doesn’t the PGA Tour call the CEOs of each one of those organizations, ‘sorry, we can’t do business with you because you’re doing business with Saudi Arabia?’

“Why are they picking on the professional golfers? Why? The male professional golfers? Females, the LPGA Tour is sponsored by Aramco, right?”

Nonetheless, Norman added that he doesn’t care what the average American gold fan thinks about LIV Golf, saying that their plan is geared toward the younger generation.

“I really don’t care, quite honestly,” Norman said. “I just love the game of golf so much. And I just want to grow the game of golf. And we at LIV see that opportunity.”

“We at LIV see it not just for the men, but for the women. We at LIV see it for NCAA and younger generations. We at LIV see it as a pathway to opportunities for these kids to experience a new world out there. LIV is the future of golf.”

  1. Aw, poor Tucker and Greggie are butt-hurt over Americans turning their backs on Trump’s terrorist Saudi golf tournament, while Joe Biden is out there killing terrorists from that same country.

    Sad!

  2. I don’t care what SOME Americans think … blah blah blah..

Hence the problem, these fascists are so busy trying to divide and conquer that they look at their very own neighbors and even family, as enemies. People like Tucker RELISH in creating such a divide. it really is quite gross and downright evil.
