One of the post-Fox News moves Tucker Carlson teased is to begin the movement to launch his own media company. In October, Carlson scored a significant investment to grow his outlet and secured a major advertising deal.
Carlson’s chief executive told Reuters that their new media company is constructing its base of paying subscribers as they progress toward their launch.
“We’ve opened our site for membership pre-sales,” Neil Patel, co-founder and chief executive, told the outlet. “Once we are comfortable that all of the systems are running well, launch and brand release will follow.”
Patel stated that paying subscribers will have access to exclusive content and behind-the-scenes footage, but he didn’t disclose the pricing.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Carlson incorporated his newly founded media company in Nevada under the name Last Country Inc.
The former Fox News host launched the Tucker on X series after the network fired him in April, and the company is expected to focus on producing video projects, including this series.
