SEC Network is sticking with stability as it prepares for the 2025 college football season. The ESPN-owned network announced the return of seven of its most recognizable analysts and personalities, along with the reintroduction of a former national championship-winning coach to its lineup.
Cole Cubelic, Chris Doering, Roman Harper, Alyssa Lang, Jordan Rodgers, Matt Stinchcomb and Benjamin Watson will remain with the network under new multi-year agreements. Together, the group has accumulated more than four decades of service to SEC fans. Gene Chizik, who previously worked as a studio analyst for SEC Network, will also rejoin the roster this fall.
“We’re thrilled this diverse and trusted group will be remaining with SEC Network,” said Pete Watters, ESPN vice president of production. “The expertise, professionalism and energized analysis they bring to both our studio and live programming is second to none. Excited to see them continue to engage fans this fall.”
Chizik will contribute weekly to SEC Now as a studio analyst. The former Auburn head coach guided the Tigers to a national title in 2010, earned SEC Coach of the Year honors, and brings a championship pedigree that SEC Network believes will enhance its coverage.
Cubelic, who has been with the network for nearly a decade, signed a multi-year extension and will continue to provide on-field analysis on SEC Saturday Night with Tom Hart and Rodgers. He also co-hosts Read & React each Monday during the season and makes regular appearances on SEC Now and The Paul Finebaum Show.
Doering, another long-tenured face, will return to SEC Now and SEC Football Final while maintaining his role as co-host of SEC This Morning on SEC Network and SiriusXM. Harper, a former NFL safety and Super Bowl champion, will continue as part of the SEC Nation crew while co-hosting Read & React and contributing to Finebaum’s program.
Lang remains one of the network’s most versatile talents, working across football, basketball, gymnastics, baseball and softball. She will continue hosting SEC Now, while also contributing as a sideline reporter for ESPN events.
Rodgers will stay in his role on SEC Nation and SEC Saturday Night, while also contributing analysis to SEC on ABC and weekday ESPN programming. Stinchcomb, entering his 17th season, will again partner with Taylor Zarzour and Lang on SEC Network’s afternoon broadcasts while making regular studio appearances.
Watson, who joined the network in 2021, will continue to provide analysis on SEC Now and SEC Football Final.
For SEC Network, the decision to bring back familiar names signals a commitment to continuity, proven chemistry, and personalities who have built strong connections with viewers. With the new season on the horizon, the network is betting on experience and consistency to keep fans engaged from August through January.
