104.3 The Fan Reveals New Lineup

104.3 The Fan (KKFN-FM) in Denver announced today several line-up changes to the radio station for the upcoming football season.

Program Director Nate Lundy, who has also been co-hosting “The Fan Morning Show” since 2013, will be stepping away from his on air role in the mornings.  Replacing him will be former Denver Bronco and Colorado State University tight end Joel Dreessen.  Dreessen, who graduated high school in Fort Morgan, has been a regular guest on 104.3 The Fan since 2012 when he was playing for the Broncos.  Dreessen’s first official day on “The Fan Morning Show” will be Thursday, September 3rd.  “The Fan Morning Show” airs weekdays from 6am to 9am.

“To have a former player like Joel as a regular part of ‘The Fan Morning Show’ is a great addition,” said Lundy.  “He brings a unique perspective to the show with Mike Evans and Vic Lombardi that football fans throughout the Front Range will enjoy.  Combine that with his deep Colorado roots and Joel is the perfect fit.”

Also announced was the addition of “The Fan Football Hour” weekdays from 9am to 10am.  Hosted by Mike Evans, “The Fan Football Hour” will focus on the Broncos and the NFL as well as the local and national college football scene.  Beginning Monday, September 7th, Hall of Fame tight end and former Bronco Shannon Sharpe will join Evans every Monday for the full hour, offering his analysis on the weekend’s top football stories and games.

As part of the line-up changes, Dan Patrick will air from 10am to Noon weekdays.  The afternoon line-up will continue to feature Sandy Clough and Scott Hastings from Noon to 3pm and “The Drive with Big Al and DMac” from 3pm to 6pm.
