Zach McCrite, who hosts “The Podcast About Sports Radio” on this website, has announced that he’s leaving his weekday position at 107.7 The Franchise in Oklahoma City. Zach’s decision stems from a desire to be home in Louisville, KY closer to family. He confirmed the news today on Twitter.
McCrite has been with The Franchise since January 2014 and previously spent 2 years in St. Louis with 101 ESPN. Prior to that he spent six years in Louisville working for a few different radio stations.
McCrite says he’d like to continue doing radio in Louisville but if it doesn’t happen, he’s ok with moving on to other endeavors.
With Zach leaving, the station will turn to Dylan Buckingham to replace him in middays. Buckingham will take over on Monday January 4th.
