On Thursday November 5th, 590 The Fan KFNS in St. Louis, returned to the airwaves under the leadership of the Markel Radio Group, which is run by Randy Merkel and Scott Gerken. Now as the new station operators begin to get acclimated to their new surroundings, they’re starting to adjust their lineup.
Last night J.C Corcoran confirmed that his morning show on the station was being dropped. Corcoran shared the news on Facebook.
Now Barrett Sports Media has learned that KFNS is bringing in Bob Ramsey and Jeff Vernetti to host middays on the radio station starting January. The show will air weekdays from 11a-1p. Howard Balzer and Marc Lillibridge will move to 1p-3p.
With Ramsey and Vernetti joining KFNS, that means they’ll be leaving their current radio home of CBS Sports 920. To fill their void Tim McKernan’s station will add a new midday show. No word yet on who will occupy that timeslot.
Kevin Slaten is expected to remain in afternoons on KFNS but other changes are planned on the station. As more becomes available we’ll keep you updated.
