Following the departure of Sean Baligian to Detroit Sports 105.1, a hole existed in afternoon drive at ESPN 96.1FM in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Today, that problem has been solved with the hiring of Jim Costa and Droo McCarthy.
In a sign of gratitude towards Baligian, the station announced the afternoon show will remain titled “It Is What It Is“. Costa confirmed his addition to the radio station earlier today on Twitter.
To help the new duo feel comfortable in their new home, Baligian surprised the program by calling in under an alias.
For more information on the show, visit the station’s website or follow them on their Facebook page.
