After ESPN 105.5 ceased operations, Cecil Lammey was left on the outside looking in. But that stay on the sidelines didn’t last long as Lammey has been hired by his 104.3 The Fan in Denver. He confirmed the news earlier on Facebook.
Lammey began his career with The Fan, serving as an NFL Insider and Part-Time Host from 2007 to 2010. He left to join the Front Range Sports Network in 2010 (they owned ESPN 105.5) and was with the group until they signed off on January 3rd.
As part of his new role with The Fan, Lammey will host on Sunday’s and do some NFL reporting. Whether he factors into the station’s weekday plans in the future remains to be seen, but having him in the building certainly provides new Program Director Armen Williams with one more option to consider as he works to strengthen the station’s programming.
