Detroit Sports 105.1 Going Local In Mornings

Detroit Sports 105.1 is making a change to their programming lineup. The radio station announced today that Sean Baligian, Tom Mazawey & Marc Fellhauer will be moving from middays to mornings, and taking over the timeslot of 6a-10a.

The move means that the radio station will go local in morning drive, replacing ESPN Radio’s “Mike and Mike”. The network show originally occupied mornings when the station launched in August 2013, but was reduced to 6a-8a when the station made changes last September.

With Baligan, Mazawey, and Fellhauer moving out of middays and into mornings, “Ryan and Rico” will shift back to their old midday spot. The duo will host weekdays from 10a-2p. They’d been hosting 8a-12p since September.

The lineup changes are expected to go into effect on Tuesday, February 16th.

Detroit Sports 105.1 Program Director Dave Shore said “We feel this new lineup will give our dedicated motor city sports fans a more local sports experience. We are very grateful to ESPN’s Mike & Mike for their contributions to the station.”
