Eric Reed Resigns From 790 The Ticket

790 The Ticket in Miami has another talent challenge to deal with. Eric Reed, who co-hosts the midday program from 1p-3p with Leroy Hoard, resigned today, citing family reasons according to a report in the Miami Herald.

Reed said via text message “After eight years, it just seemed like the time was right for me to move on. I enjoyed my time at 790 and wouldn’t change anything. I made the decision to get out of my contract to spend time with my family before I begin my next venture.”

The Ticket lost Joy Taylor last month and is undergoing a search for her replacement. The radio station has also been looking at internal and external candidates to work with Ethan Skolnick in afternoons.
