ESPN 980 Adds Bram Weinstein To Middays

ESPN 980 has announced the addition of “The Bram Weinstein Show” to its weekday lineup. Weinstein will debut on Monday July 25th and broadcast his daily show from 11a-1p ET. He fills the void left behind by the departure of Tony Kornheiser.

Veteran sports anchor Scott Linn will also join Weinstein in studio for every show. Linn has been a show host and anchor at ESPN 980 since 1993. Nationally, he has also co-hosted “The Steve Czaban Show” for the past 13 years.

Weinstein, is no stranger to the DC sports scene. He grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland and worked for 980 as a Redskins reporter between 1999 and 2008 before moving to Bristol, CT where he became an ESPN SportsCenter anchor from 2010 to 2015.

“I always knew my career would bring me back to Washington,” said Weinstein. “What I never envisioned was getting this particular opportunity. It’s a surreal honor. I can’t wait to get the show started.”

“Bringing Bram back to DC completes an incredible lineup of entertaining sports programming on ESPN 980,” said Terry Bateman, Chairman of Red Zebra Broadcasting. “Bram is guaranteed to provide listeners with a unique, compelling and entertaining approach to discussing the DC sports landscape.”

With Weinstein on board, ESPN 980 will now feature 17 hours of live and local sports talk Monday through Friday. The lineup will shape up as follows.
