In February, former St. Louis Rams owner Stan Kroenke purchased the vast Waggoner Ranch in Texas, which houses more than 135 homes near Lake Diversion. After the sale, residents were told that business would continue as usual and no changes would be made. But that’s apparently not the case.
Summer residents were recently informed that they would need to evacuate their homes as Kroenke is ending all leases and forcing everyone out. Many of these residents are retired, some are veterans, and they have nowhere else to go.
Sports radio station 101 ESPN in St. Louis, has leaped into action to raise funds to help the permanent residents who are being forced out as they search for a new home.
