Moderator Gerald Owens says, “As fans we cherish, even worship, our favorite athletes on the court or on the field.  Rarely do we hear their personal beliefs on the big social issues facing our society.  This forum will allow us to discuss that.”

The event will air with live video and audio on WRAL-2, 99.9 The Fan, WRALsportsfan.com and the WRALsportsfan App.  You can also access the show via Roku, Amazon Fire and Apple TV with the new WRAL App.

Dennis Glasgow, Capitol Broadcasting sports radio operations manager, program director and executive producer for the Fan Town Hall series says, “This discussion is long overdue, and we have a diverse and opinionated panel to tackle this polarizing topic.  I’m also excited that our viewers and listeners can participate with their feedback and commentary in real-time via Twitter”.
