Dickerson Demands Public Apology From The Rams

If the Los Angeles Rams want one of the franchise’s most popular players, Eric Dickerson, to bury the hatchet with them, there’s a simple way they can accomplish it. The Hall of Fame running back appeared in studio today with Fred Roggin and Leeann Tweeden on AM 570 LA Sports and said the only satisfactory response he’ll accept from the team is a public apology.

When Roggin asked what needs to happen, Dickerson said he wanted Jeff Fisher, and Kevin Demoff to publicly apologize for making him look like a liar. He said the franchise put him in position to look bad, and then chalked it up as a miscommunication, which Dickerson emphatically said was not accurate.

When asked by Tweeden if he’d return to the sidelines for a game before the end of the season if the team did say sorry, Dickerson said he would not. Although he’d continue to support the Rams one-thousand percent, Dickerson said he is a man of his word, and he would not go back on the field until Fisher was no longer the team’s Head Coach.
