Clay Travis is changing affiliates in his home market, Nashville. His “Outkick the Coverage” radio show which airs nationwide on FOX Sports Radio will be increasing its presence in the next few weeks by moving from his former local radio home 104.5 The Zone, to WLAC 1510 AM.
The plan is for Travis’ show to debut in the 6a-8a slot and then expand to the full three hours in the upcoming weeks. The show’s first hour is presently carried locally by The Zone, but the station shifts to local programming starting at 6am. The Zone does have the right to continue airing his program in its current time slot for the next few weeks.
Since being installed in mornings on FSR, Travis’ show has experienced strong growth. It’s now available in 240 markets, and the program’s cumulative audience grew 166 percent, and the monthly listening hours increased 153 percent compared to the network’s performance during the same time last year.
His new radio home in Nashville, WLAC, is a newstalk focused product which carries Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Dave Ramsey.
