New England Patriots QB Tom Brady cut short his weekly radio interview with WEEI’s morning show “Kirk & Callahan” after learning of an offensive remark made about his daughter last week on the radio station. On-air contributor Alex Reimer referred to Brady’s daughter as “an annoying little pissant” while discussing Brady’s documentary “Tom vs. Time” which debuted last week on Facebook.
On Monday evening, WEEI management issued an official response.
Brady took part in a media session on Monday and added “We all have careers and make mistakes. I’d hate for someone to have to change their life over something like that. That was certainly not what he intended.”
Whether Brady will appear on the morning show after Sunday’s Super Bowl is still unknown.
