Turner will manage the official app of the Ryder Cup as well as RyderCup.com. It will be the exclusive streaming home of the Ryder Cup this week at Le Golf National in Paris, France. The stream will also be available through Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV devices.
Viewers will be able to watch every second of play if they would like. The Ryder Cup app will offer replays of featured matches and singles play. It will also feature a scrolling social media feed that gives users up to date commentary from the social media accounts of golf’s biggest names.
The app also features a course map to give viewers an idea of the on-course experience. The map will allow users to take walking tours of the course and zoom in on its most interesting greens. The map is also designed to be used on site, as it can tell users how far they are from the nearest merchandise and refreshment locations.
