Cleveland’s 92.3 The Fan announced Mike ‘Chico’ Bormann as their new evening radio host. A northeast Ohio native, Bormann will host weekdays on the Entercom owned station from 7pm – midnight ET.
“When I was asked what I ultimately wanted in this business, my answer was always clear: Cleveland. Anyone who has known me for any length of time knows this has been where I’ve always wanted to be, doing what I love,” wrote Bormann in a letter posted on The Fan’s website.
Bormann now gets that opportunity to host a daily show in Cleveland taking over 92.3 The Fan’s evening time slot from Nick Wilson. Wilson left Cleveland in late July to co-host the midday show with Josh Parcell at Charlotte’s WFNZ. Prior to his departure, Wilson hosted evenings on 92.3 since 2015.
“I feel truly blessed to talk sports with the best and most loyal fan base anywhere in the country. I am joining a great team here at The Fan and want to say thanks to all of you who allow us an opportunity to come along for the ride. I can’t wait to make you a part of the show I’ve been dreaming about all my life!” added Bormann.
Bormann previously served as the main weekend and fill-in host for 92.3 The Fan. Prior to joining The Fan, Bormann worked as a sports radio announcer for 12 years in Erie, Pennsylvania.
