The Action Network has announced that Patrick Keane will take over as the company’s new CEO. He was a seed stage into the company. Keane has an impressive background in the online media realm. He was a board member at Bleacher Report, Chief Marketing Officer for CBS Interactive, and CEO of Associated Content.
“I have always been excited about growing businesses with passionate audiences around a singular content vertical,” Keane said in a press release. “And right now is the opportunity for Action to establish itself as the sports betting reference brand.” He will be based in the company’s Manhattan headquarters.
Since the company’s 2017 launch, more than 21 million bets have been taken in The Action Network app. October 2018 was its most successful month so far with 1.6 million active users. It represents a 77% growth from the previous month and 309% year-over-year growth.
