Fox scored a major ratings win for Thursday Night Football this week. The Dallas Cowboys’ 13-10 win at home against the New Orleans Saints scored a 14.6 overnight rating. That is the highest rating ever scored by a Thursday Night Football game.
Earlier this year the Packers and Seahawks scored an 11.9 overnight rating. That was the highest overnight rating in more than two years. Obviously the Cowboys’ win blew past that number.

With only two more Thursday games left in the 2018 season, Fox has to be pleased overall with the performance of Thursday Night Football, a property the network paid more than $500 million to broadcast. The rating for last night’s game beats the rating for every game of both the NBA Finals and the World Series.
