Amazon Prime Video and Augusta National Golf Club announced that Prime Video will become a domestic broadcaster for the Masters Tournament beginning in April 2026, offering golf fans expanded live coverage alongside CBS Sports and ESPN.
The partnership marks the first time Amazon Prime Video will stream live coverage of one of golf’s most prestigious events. Providing additional broadcast options for viewers eager to follow the early rounds of the tournament.
“It’s an honor for all of us at Amazon to become a broadcast partner of the Masters Tournament and to provide fans additional hours of live coverage of this treasured event,” said Jay Marine, Head of Prime Video U.S. and Global Sports. “We are humbled and proud to begin our relationship with Augusta National Golf Club, and we cannot wait to get started.”
Under the new agreement, Prime Video will stream the first and second rounds of the Masters from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 9, and Friday, April 10, leading directly into ESPN’s broadcast coverage from 3:00 – 7:30 p.m. ET on both days.
CBS will continue its live broadcast of the weekend rounds from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, April 11, and Sunday, April 12, preceded by live streaming coverage on Paramount+ from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. ET.
For decades, CBS has been synonymous with Masters coverage. While ESPN has provided supplementary broadcasts, including featured groups and early-round coverage. Prime Video’s entrance signals a growing trend of streaming services securing live rights to marquee sports events, allowing fans more flexible viewing options and creating new revenue streams for sports leagues and tournaments.
This addition represents Prime Video’s latest move in live sports broadcasting. Following deals for NFL Thursday Night Football, NBA and NASCAR events. By adding the Masters, Amazon strengthens its position in the competitive sports streaming market. Offering high-profile events alongside its growing portfolio of live content.
