Sports Radio 610 Continues To Cruise In Houston

The November ratings were released last week in Houston, and once again Sports Radio 610 remains in the driver’s seat according to the Houston Chronicle. 610 doubled the overall performance of second place ESPN Houston 97.5, and tripled the number of third ranked SportsTalk 790. Both of 610’s drive time programs registered top 10 finishes, led by the afternoon show placing inside the Top 5.

One detail of interest to many in the sports radio industry is how Josh Innes will perform, now that he’s returned to the market to compete against his former station. For his first full month, Innes’ show rated lower than former host Charlie Pallilo’s final month. However, most new programs usually require time to develop a loyal audience and consistent impression in the ratings.
