Alyssa Lang will join the SEC Network for a number of its studio shows. The former First Coast News sports anchor will host SEC Featured on Monday nights and will have what ESPN is calling “a supporting role” on Thinking Out Loud, which stars Greg McElroy and Marcus Spears. Lang will also be part of the SEC Now anchor rotation after football season.
“Joining a team that eats, sleeps, and breathes [college football] is an absolute dream come true. I am so excited to join the SEC Network family, and look forward to an incredible first season,” Lang said in a press release. Before moving to Jacksonville to join First Coast News, Lang covered the University of South Carolina and Clemson University teams for WLTX in Columbia, SC. The University of South Carolina alum has also worked for SpeedTV and GamecockCentral.com.
