98.7 ESPN New York Extends Rights Deals For Knicks, Rangers With MSG Networks

The New York Knicks and New York Rangers will continue to call 98.7 ESPN their radio flagship. The teams have played on the station since 2004. ESPN New York and MSG Networks announced an extension to their current deal on Tuesday.

“We’re thrilled to continue our relationship with MSG Networks and bring fans Knicks and Rangers action across ESPN New York assets, including 98.7 ESPN New York and 1050 ESPN AM,” said ESPN New York market manager, Vinny DiMarco. “As a lifelong New Yorker, I’m excited to extend our partnership with a best-in-class brand and network, and to share our passion for the games with New York fans for years to come.”

The station will not only air live games. It will provide pre and postgame coverage of both teams as well.
