Barstool Sports personality and social media manager Tyler O’ Day unexpectedly announced on The Dave Portnoy Show that he is resigning from the company at the end of September. In a video tweeted out by Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, you can hear O’Day explain “…at the end of this month I will be tendering my resignation from Barstool…”.
Portnoy was visibly shaken up by the news that O’Day was resigning and can be heard asking “How am I supposed to continue with the show?”. After a brief pause Portnoy followed up with “What happened? Where are you going?”.
The conversation took an unexpected turn at this point with O’Day answering Portnoy by saying “The Empire State Building…they need a social media manager”.
Fast-forward to after the podcast episode and you can see that Portnoy was not happy to lose O’Day.
The Empire State Building might be one of the most iconic structures in the world, but even it’s not safe against against El Presidente.
